Emblem/Badge options need ideas

Hi All, Ashen Grey 14 2SS,

I was thinking of changing the front gold bow tie to a Black SS That fits into the same spot.

The rear Gold Bow Tie I see they make Black or Matte Black overlays how do they fit/look and hold up? Which is the better of the colors? I am assuming Matte is a little flatter but I can't tell by the pictures.

As far as the chrome looking Camaro on the fenders what are some good options there?

Black SS?
Camaro in Black?
6.2 in Black?

Any help and links would be appreciated.
Thank you

The front, if you like it would do the Black SS, on the rear bowtie I have seen both matte and gloss ones. If your color is Ashen Grey, never heard of "Aspen" Grey, I think the gloss would look better, just would "accent" the rear panel better. On the fender badges, personally I like the "naked" look, but if you really want them there, go for the gloss black, would look pretty cool.. The "naked" fender look.. Nice and clean..

I picked up a bowtie delete off eBay and then ordered this SS badge from Emblem Pros. It's made for the Heritage Grill, but I was able to drill two small holes in the bowtie delete for the studs on the back of the SS badge. Easy mod and you can choose your color.

Any leads on a Decent rear Bowtie? I think I am going to leave the Fender ones off.
Ashen Grey is what I meant.
Any tips on removing the fender decals?

On the rear bowtie, I painted mine myself with gloss black and clear coated it. Not hard to do, just tape it off, little sanding, primer then paint it. As for removing the fender lettering, they are metal, I used "Goo Gone" sprayed behind them and this fishing line, or dental floss works too. Let the Goo Gone soak in a bit to soften the adhesive, then use the fishing line/floss which ever and put it behind the letters and use an up and down sawing motion th remove them. Very easy. Then more Goo Gone on the adhesive and you can rub it off with your thumb. It will be sore when you get all done, but it will look great!! Here is a pic of my rear bowtie..

Are the Red SS badges available in Black? I have seen some cheap knock offs but I am looking for a nice look and fit. I think I may leave emblems off the fenders, Black SS to replace the front gold bow tie and I am guessing a black/chrome rear bow tie.
I was thinking a Black SS to replace the rear bow tie but that may be to much with the other SS Back there, Unless I remove the little Red SS.

I made my own flow tie for up front. I think it gives a clean look to front. ZL1 grille, badge and lot of time. I removed the rear bow tie, IMO cleaner look with only SS badges. For the fenders I have the 2016+ Camaro badge.

Anyone have pictures of the back with the Bowtie removed? I am having a hard time find a Black Bowtie of decent quality.

You can also do the rear bowtie with self adhesive vinyl. You can pick up the vinyl at any craft store. Mine is done with matte.

Hard to tell by yours, but on mine there is a recessed outline between the chrome and the gold ( the recess is gold ) looks like it would be a pain to get it in there. I would like to find a factory black one as I plan on having the car a while , My other Z28 I have had since 1995.I may leave it off but would like to see a picture.

davesnever, Yes I saw those, I am looking for a good quality or OEM Black Bow Tie. I would like one the same size as factory one.
