Yes it's the total weight savings (both sides). It's a great kit, they are practically zero drag street setups. Hawk pads grip well and I have noticed no fade with inner city driving.

Thumbs up for fit/finish/performance.

47lbs total for both sides? It doesn’t look like both sides on the scale. edit: 47lbs total does match what aerospace told me for the race kit.

Areospace race ve stock ss 4 piston?

has anyone priced the bolt on brake lines from gpi. thinking about ordering the front and rear kits but not without knowing how much the lines cost.

They told me $1,040 for the fronts with there line kit . You can buy the front kit from them for the lines for only $75 so with the discount from aero you would be spending about $750

So the gpi kit is a true bolt on kit the one aero has you have to cut the spindle for it to clear but if you don’t mind that you can save a lot of money .

I hadn't heard anything about cutting a spindle. aerospace just told me the brake line wasn't a direct fit and that gpi had lines that did fit.

what is this cutting the spindle thing?

Ahh, I can handle that. I would be surprised if the gpi kit didn’t require that also.

I am going to give these a try. I just ordered the front street kit from aerospace and the lines from gpi. the total was about $800. they really get you on the shipping but it still seems reasonable for a brake kit. 40lbs off the front of the car and less drag
