From 88 Supra to possibly 1SS/1LE?
Hi all,
I just sold my 2JVVTi swapped 88 supra and now want to get into something new and solid for a 140 mile commute. Yea a V8 track bread car may not be the most efficient choice but who doesn’t want to bang gears on their commute every once in a while. Long story short the new cars today are so much more advanced that if i were to mod the Supra to keep up at track days, it would cost me damn near the cost of a new 1LE. So here we are… Ive been wanting to jump into a V8 car for a while now and im at a point in life where if im going to do it, now is the time. Ive been going back and forth between the mustang and camaro for months and i have finally settled on a new 1LE. Are there any meets in the area that i could get feedback from drivers and possibly get a ride along? Im 95% sold already so this would be more of a, “now i got no choice but to do it” thing lol |

Not sure where you are in FL, but Cars & Coffee Palm Beach is pretty big with several Camaro's and others. Great venue to attend. Plenty there to give advice.

Other than the perception of poor visibility, the Gen6 Camaro wins against the current Mustang in most of not all metrics.
I never had a problem with visibility on either the Gen5 or Gen6. Good luck!

You won't regret it. The 6th Gen Camaro is impressive in so many ways.
I have a 2017 2SS non-1LE and its one of the best cars I have ever owned. If your commute is mostly highway, you will get very good gas mileage. I took a trip a few months ago, 2800 miles round trip mostly interstate. I got 31 mpg doing 75 mph. Car looks good, sounds amazing, is comfortable, handles amazing, and is fast. |

Congrats, you'll love the 2SS and the 1LE package makes it even sweeter To earn your username, though, did you consider a ZL1?

If the tint isn't a legal percentage, pretty sure they HAVE to take that off...
