hi all, new to site..question, how do i post images to my threads??

All hello im new to the site, trying to post pics on my threads, but when I choose attachment icon it asks for a URL address to my pics only? Is there no way to attach images?

Click on the attachment paper clip. Then click choose file. Click on the file picture you want and click on upload.

The described method is the faster way to do it.


Another way is to save your pictures on an Imgur account, which is free to set up and use. It's kinda nice to do it that way since you have your own archive of pictures. You can organized them by creating albums.


Once you have uploaded an image to Imgur, with your mouse pointer hovered over the image you get a drop down arrow that give you the option of Get Share Links. Select the Copy button under BBCode (Forums). You can then paste that into your message here.


I like doing it that way because it doesn't insert the picture into my message until I preview or post it, so it makes editing easier.
