Depends on what you looking for, RC is a luxury car. Even if you get an RC-F it's no match for SS Camaro in sport department just like Camaro is no match luxury or fit/finish wise for RC.

The RC 350 I test drove is more comparable with a Camaro RS performance wise.. so SS takes this one easily.

Lexus = luxury not performance. Their "F" cars are dogs.

I took a RC 350 F Sport for a test drive last February after the auto show. Besides being a dog, the infotainment systems interface was horrible. So frustratingly bad that I wouldn’t be able to live with it.

I was considering giving up the SS performance (and comprises) for a upscale coupe at that time. I found that you’ll give up far more performance than you’ll gain luxury if you compare a loaded 2SS* with Lexus, BMW or Audi with a ~50k budget. The RC isn’t even more practical. The Audi A5 almost got me.

* my SS has suede knee bolsters, footwell lighting, Navi, MRC and premium floor mats.

The rc350 f sport and the RC f sport are completely different cars. The 350 is a super slow car f sport or not. Literally performance is on par with my bolt on frs. The rc f sport is a v8, still slower than the camaro imo, but it is leaps and bounds faster than the 350 and is still a fast car. Heres a 350 f sport I checked out, I almost traded my frs for it, that color really pops! Ended up just being a fancy frs, so I passed

Although more expensive the lfa is a better comparison performance wise. It stomps the camaro.

Yes. But the RC F is more expensive than a ZL1 for high 12s speed.

I really like Lexus styling but expected to be wowed by the interior more. It was eye opening for me to go out with a low $50s budget to see what I could get. The 2SS is a great value if you can live with it’s compromises.

Stock SS? Certainly. But for 375k I can bring home 5 ZL1's with over 25 G's leftover. The IFA is a better comparison with the ZL1 IMO than an SS, tho the ZL1 kicks its azz in shear value and raw horsepower. Looks hot tho...

Exactly... and I can't even believe that a Camaro is being compared to Japanese POS.
