I think it really should have been called ZL1.R or maybe just ZL1 with the Z07 package. The "ZL1 1LE" is just confusing. If you merge a ZL1 with a 1LE you don't get this. The 1LE sits below the standard ZL1 so it seems almost like it's a downgrade (in name).

But who cares about semantics, I just want numbers and an allocation so I can order the darn thing...
I think it helps if you treat the 1LE nameplate as track-enhancements...no matter what Camaro you find it on.

Multimatic has no plans to sell DSSV dampers in the aftermarket except for replacement parts engineered for the Camaro Z/28. They’ll work on any sixth-generation Camaro, so anyone owning a 2016 or newer Chevrolet pony car can upgrade to at least partial Z/28 specs through GM’s service parts organization. quote

Looks like a pretty complete handling package... yes please!

Nothing from the 5th Gen suspension interchanges with the 6th

In the end, I may be disappointed that this turned out to not be the Z/28 but I believe this will curb stomp some very expensive, very fast cars. I just need to have some popcorn ready when they release the first head to head comparisons.

Everything about this car screams Z/28, except for the engine and badge.

Maybe the Z/28 will be the same car with the DOHC LT5 engine in it.

I actually have one

This is really cool. I'm in Orlando for the weekend for family vacation and currently debating whether to tell the family to suck it up and drive the hour to go see this thing in person. I'm assuming this will be at fest this summer. Feels a little selfish to take family time away for something I can see in a few months.

Can we talk to the engineers about giving some ride alongs at NCM during our track day?

Just bolt it on. I'm pretty sure they'll fit.

There's a reason the standard ZL1 wheels don't quite push out to the edges of the car....they designed the front fenders and rear track with this car in mind.
Auto blog is stating revised 6th gear ratio.

That'll be bad for fuel economy, but great for track rats. I wonder if they'll put this thing around the 'Ring....or rather, we know they did: I wonder if they'll give us a video and time to enjoy.

A 3/27 build, mods and a 1500 mile break in puts me potentially beyond the season start anyway.

Dilemma... do I cancel my current order, suffer through one more season with my GT3, buy this race ready version (3 seconds is a LOT) and be ready for 2018.?

And yes, I know, there will always be faster iron...
Argghhh! I really feel your pain. I can stick with the current track toy this season or....

Do you have a link handy? I don't think I've seen this video.
