Have a home security system and a keypad deadbolt. The only key I carry is the car key.
I absolutely love the keyless aspect of the camaro. The Auto lock is one of my favorite car features. So cool walking away from my car and having it honk at me...."I'll see you soon and I'm all locked and secure."

Kind of dangerous to leave your car running in the drive or anywhere else when it is out of sight. Thieves are looking for exactly this type of hop and go opportunity.

I put my key fob on a lanyard and wear it around my neck
Because I am worried that this might happen...not used to keyless so I often forget about the key fob(even when it's on the lanyard around my neck) |

Whats wrong with a physical key that is used to start and turn off your car. |

I wonder if any keyless systems actually shut down if they don't detect the key after a few moments, or immediately when the key leaves the vicinity...
I imagine such a function could cause a safety issue if there was a malfunction.
