I think I'll prioritize getting the red "Camaro" fuel door first as that really stands out and adds another nice touch of red to match red brake calipers. (I just don't have your red slashed wheels - those match great on yours).

Is that silver chrome around the windows? Looks nice, mine is all black. The only silver/chrome I have are the inserts on the LT front bumper.

I took delivery of my 24 Camaro 2SS last week. I feel very lucky to have it, given the strike, supply chain issues, etc.

My order went in before the 2024 configurator went online, and I feel like I got away with something. I wanted a 1LE for some occasional track weekends, but I am not a fan of the matte black hood wrap or the rear spoiler that comes on the 1LE spec. I didn't care for the Recaros either.

I spec'd it out with the available, at the time, 1LE performance suspension with magnetic ride. I also got the ZL1 (copper free) brakes, ZL1 spoiler, and the ground effects kit. That 1LE suspension upgrade appears to be gone from the configurator now.

I also had some 1LE wheels and SS center caps waiting to go on it when I took delivery.

It's exactly what I wanted. The perfect SS for me!

Beautiful cars! Just curious, is this anyone's first black car like it is mine? I never realized keeping black paint looking good would be such a PITA.

I've had a couple in the past, and yeah, huge PITA. I just want to fly under the radar and avoid tickets, attention, etc. But yeah, you definitely have to get used to seeing your hard detailing work disappear in an instant.

I am going to be applying some ceramic wax at some point soon, but I need to do a paint correction first. There's still gunk on the paint, adhesive lines, etc. And I am wary of sending it back to the same dealer detailers that were ok releasing it as it is. Hoping that applying that stuff will give less of a surface for dust and dirt to grab on to.

Not my first but I will admit that every time I get one, I always end up swearing that it will be my last.

It just looks so damn good when clean that I have a hard time staying away from it.

Now that's a great story how you optioned this one out. I like the ZL1 wing and big brakes. These cars are so customizable. You can get the performance goodies you want, and the cosmetic stuff too. Good luck.
