Finally got my 1LE
I finally got my 1LE! I had a black RS and have regretted not getting the V8 since I bought it. I bought an ashen grey 2SS/1LE fully loaded with sunroof and navigation. The previous owner had done some modifications Im not too fond of. That idiot super glued the ZL1 emblem to the dash, which I didn't know and now i have to get that replaced. He also added a carbon fiber vinyl to the hood. I like it but at the same time I want the stock look of the hood. If I take it off will it peel the flat black vinyl too? and he switched the steering wheel bezel to a ZL1 bezel. I checked the price for the bezel and it costs $160 for a new one so I'll leave it alone for now. He also put a different spoiler on it which i like but i need to get it vinyl wrapped. I was quoted $290 here in Dallas. Is there a cheaper route but not plastic dip? The front bumper also has the license plate drilled in and the picture shows a photoshopped picture he sent me lol
heres some pictures too |

So you are really liking the upgrade from the V6? I can't wait for my upgrade. Does it feel like an entirely new beast?!
That's kind of odd he added all the ZL1 stuff when it's not a ZL1. I mean, I can understand adding ZL1 parts so to speak, but why have ZL1 emblems??? |

So for launch control, you just put it in that mode, hold throttle all the way down, and let off the clutch fast and it does a pretty perfect launch?

Congrats!
The hood looks ok. I might keep that. The ZL1 emblems have to go as you've already stated. Great pick up. You'll love the power of the V8!
