It looks like that but with half chopped off. Haha. I talked to ADM and they are sending me the right hose.

It came covered like that. Nice OEM look.

I have what I hope is not too silly a question. Is the cavitation issue a track-only issue based on the coolant heating up, or do the cars experience the issue even as a daily driver? In other words, did those of you that put the reservoir on do so because you track your ZL1s or did you do so because it just makes sense to do so to avoid the cavitation issue altogether?

A reservoir facilitates expelling air in the system and topping off fluid as it is at the highest point in the system, track or street.

Received from ADM last week
Everything perfect.
Put it today, had to change the position of the elite catch can.
-intercoller reservoir aft original position
-catch can between rotofab and réservoir
(Had to modify a little bit the fixation and run the out pipe in the front instead of the back of the LT4)
Didn’t use all the pipe, made it simple
Didn’t disconnect the intercolling pump pipe
Used the OEM, used a part of the pipe shipped as an extension
Kept all the connections
Super easy, if you keep the pipe high you won’t have coolant leak
I had just a few drop when disconnecting and reconnecting...
Pictures to come

I did that mod because next year I will go back to France, there is no Chevy dealer,
I want to check my level and make sure pump is not cavitating
I have no tool to add coolant under pressure.
With this tank : super easy

Which level do you recommend in the reservoir?
3/4

Thanks for posting pics. I read your previous post and couldn't visualize CC positioning. Looks like a clean install. Another option for mounting the CC if you have heat or draining issues associated with proximity to exhaust manifold down the road, might be to mount it directly to the Roto-Fab. No criticism intended, I like your install idea and I'm just thinking out loud.

One question; Is that an Elite bracket or did you fabricate it? Thanks in advance.

Tx
I thought about CC on the rotofab
But there is less clearance below to drain because of the AC pipe.
(AC line on the side mid engine, Moving into close to the CAI)
Plus the side of the rotofab has an angle
(Should have worked an homemade fixation except if you accept the CC to have this angle what I didn’t for the look...)

Yes the bracket is from Elite
(Just worked dremel a little bit as you can see to clear the second bolt on the bar, and add extra clearance for the AC pipe because I wanted CC to be closer to the side to clear the cooling line of the new reservoir).

For some reason, I’m still on the fence on getting this. I’ll probably only track the car 2 times a year. Is it still worth doing?

For flushing/filling/checking the system it really is indispensable...and cheap.
