I'll be calling to discuss the details but thought i would start the discussion here for the benefit of others.

I'm going to at a minimum add the lt4 high side fuel components and smaller upper pulley. I am debating on whether to install the blower cam kit now also or save that for the next phase. Can you answer these questions to help with my decision?
1. I'm assuming that i will be right at 600 rwhp with thesr mods on 93 with the stock cam?
2. I assume adding the cam will put me right at 700 on 93?
3. If i do the cam i.e. basically the same package you installed on the vert, and we remote tune as before, are you comfortable that my stock pistons/ring gap will be ok?
4. For a m6 guy, working without a lift, what is your recommendation on how to do the cam install? Motor in or out?
5. if i do the drop in pistons, can i truly just pull the pistons, press on the new ones, set the ring gaps and reinstall? Should the rod bolts be replaced? What about the bearings? I assume i will need to do a lght hone (I have 14k miles on the motor)? I've read tons of opinions on this issue, I'd really like to hear yours.
1) correct
2) correct
3) I am completely comfortable but like everything in modification there is always risk, I like to do a lot with a little and if we feed the engine properly I don't see any issues in my experience.
4) Motor out.
5) You would do both Rods and pistons as a set we offer that include rings and bearings, I can give my more details when you call.

Thank you for your business.

Ted.

Damn! You're completely comfortable with the stock pistons but I will be pulling the motor for the cam...hell of a first world dilemma! To do or not to do the pistons/rods is keeping me up at night lol! I'll give you a call next week to discuss

Well your question was 2 layered, I want to do a cam but don't have a lift so pulling the motor is the easiest way to change the cam since you have to drop the pan.

We change cams here with motor in the car.

I look forward to speaking with you about your project.

Ted.

Ted, We are pulling the motor today and getting the stuff installed. I currently have the 85mm pulley from your super Street Brawler package, should I go ahead and swap to the 80mm? Only difference is I do have your forged pistons and I have the race pipes instead of cats (I have the cats too, but won’t be in the car).

I have your base tune ready to load and am hoping to start logging by next weekend.

Lets start with the 85 you can always upgrade later.

The 85 is a good starting point and I've run them all down to the 70mm and that's where I started pushing seals out and I'll probably go back to the 75mm after I replace the rear seal and try to make it through the rest of the season and I'll probably have to rebuild the motor and try to get into the low 9's. I've found that 16.5 lbs of boost is pushing this LT1 to the max on stock internals and seals, at 13 lbs I had no problems at all.

@laynlo, with the cam and headers, the 85mm pulley will only push about 9psi. I am already replacing the front seal. Once we get the tune dialed in, I will be heading your way so we can get the dyno numbers and compare before and after on the same dyno.

On this package, do we need to modify the tune if I switch between high flow cats and race pipes?
