This is an awesome build and 900 is probably a realistic goal looking at the parts list. Let me know how the car drives with all the extra power. If you run into wheelhop with all the new power let me know. We have a ton of stuff to fix those issues!

Wheels are on and I'm doing the engine break in miles now. Dropping it off Wednesday to do the dyno tuning and
pulley swapping along with a few other things that need to be installed. |

This looks like the foundation for a great 700whp build. You can get 900whp with nitrous but the PD supercharger is not going to get you over 800 whp unless you are running race gas or E85. A PD supercharger has a maximum rpm it can turn at before it just plain makes too much heat. Most of the tables and tuners say 23,000 rpm is max for a 2.3 supercharger. If you build some extravagant supercharger cooling systems (my ZL1 has all this) you can spin it a little faster but that 2.3 liter supercharger at around 24,000 rpm is equal to roughly 800 whp worth of air. If you use ethanol the air fuel ratios are different and it takes a lot more fuel than air so you can maybe jump it as high as 850whp on straight ethanol or E85. Spraying nitrous gives you more oxygen in the combustion chamber than the induction system can produce (and it helps cool the supercharger) so spraying nitrous will give you a big boost in whp. If you are spraying nitrous 1000whp will be easy with that build.
Also, for those considering a high horsepower build, the stock 4 bolt head system really can only handle about 750 whp for any sustained period of time. It is mainly due to the extreme heat and combustion pressures generated at those power levels. A four bolt head can hold 900 or 1000 or even 1200 whp for a 4 second dyno run or even a 10 or 11 second 1/4 mile. But if you tune up an engine to constantly run at 800+ whp and try to either road race it all out or hold it wide open for even a 1 mile event, the head gasket is going to questionable. Solution is either a 6 bolt head or if you really want to be sure a 6 bolt with o-ring. But all of that aside, it looks like a beautiful build. I kind of wish I had your bottom end under my turbos.... I would recommend setting it up to make around 700whp with the supercharger and have the nitrous for short bursts if you need more. That should make it 100% reliable.

First Dyno is in. Made 699hp and 711tq @ 10 lbs of boost. Completely stock fuel system with meth.
Next up CPR low side fuel system, 10.55 lower pulley, 75mm upper pulley, 103mm throttle body, and Roto Fab intake. Last edited by crash0117; 08-28-2016 at 04:13 PM. |

Glad to see everything come together. Crazy amount of instant tq!!! I was hoping to see the tq hold longer and the hp through 7k. Looking forward to the next round of mods and dyno charts.
