Frequently Asked Questions

"How dark will these make my tail lights?" / "Will people be able to see my tail lights in bright sun with these blackouts on them?"
We have spent years designing, building, and selling our own blackout kits because we want to make sure they are done right. Years of experience have taught us what material to use to get the best blackout appearance while still transferring enough light. This means that your tail lights will shine brightly through the blackouts when your lights are on. So when you hit the brakes, the driver behind you will have no problem seeing your brake lights.

"How well do they fit?"
All of our Camero tail light blackout kits are made using custom billet molds that have been CNC machined to the exact dimensions of the Camaro tail light. We do this to ensure that tail light blackout lenses will fit your car perfectly.

"How are they attached?"
We use the finest quality 3M VHB tape that has an amazingly strong grip. These blackouts will not come off unless you pry them off. We include alcohol wipes to clean off your tail lights before installing the blackouts to help ensure many years of trouble free good looks.

Thumbs down Why?

These are garbage imo, why dim your LEDs? I can see people blacking out non LED tailights becuase theyre 100% ugly and out of date. The LEDs on gen 6 Camaros look expensive not cheap so why hide them?

Everyone has different taste. Just because you don't like them, doesn't make them garbage. Just saying.

You misunderstand blackouts. These don't dim the LEDs at all. These dim the tail lights when the lights are not on.

Covering a light housing with a black film doesn't make the LEDS appear more dim? Ooooookay guy.

So adding more material to what is already there will not decrease the lumen output? It is just like the old black out kits from years ago and they do decrease the light output. It is a molded plastic piece that covers the original tail light housing. Have a nice day

Can we have more pictures with the running lights on and reverse?
Both day and night.
A video of both would be very helpful on here.

Also putting 150 more down gets you oem dark taillights.
