My ZL addons, fronts, have worked as intended and never come off in the past year or more.

I may not drive in snow but the rain and dirt/muddy roads haven't broken them off.

They added a clip to help. So maybe you had the earlier version with no clip?

Thanks All. I did go with ACS. Cost me 523 shipping to Thailand, and I haven't paid tariff yet, probably $300 more. I've decided, after I swallow this huge downpayment hit of 90k, I'll pick up the entire 1LE Look alike package from ACS. It might be 6k over there, but with shipping and 100% tax, it's 15k here. so I'll enjoy the ride with just the rock guards and the dimple I just bought LOL. I'm getting ready to take delivery, so I'm too excited....

Man, talk about dedication May you enjoy your ZL1 to the fullest (and recoup some of the insane cost making youtube videos or something).

Wow!

Was going to chime in with the ZL1 addons, but guess I’m late. I’ve have had them on both my 6th Gen Camaro’s. They’re subtle, cost effective, and work well.

Don’t mean to derail this thread but where can one purchase the ZL1 addons? Never mind, google is my friend....ordered some.....did anyone notice a difference after the rock guards? Or is it just for “peace of mind”

Definitely helps to prevent damage to the side of your car.

Absolutely noticed a difference on my 2017. I purchased that car previously enjoyed and it had paint damage from the fronts spraying back at the rear quarters. Had the paint repaired, and installed the ZL1 addons rock guards. After this she stayed pristine.

Installed the ZL1 addons rockguards on my ZL1 when it still had 3km. No issues 2 yrs later. Having said this I don’t daily it, but do get on it when I bring it out to play.

Well, when I watch the media over there, I just You guys are constantly getting BS'd. When the Government put tariffs on the Chinese goods the media was beating up the administration for all the reasons. But the fact is I had to drop about 210K-220k to get this ZL1, actually exactly 6.7million Baht (and I got a steal because I ordered outright, the car wasn't here). for the cars that are already on the showroom floor like an SS, they wanted 5.5 million Baht. There was a used 2013 ZL1 with like 5000kms on it, they wanted 3.5 million baht 100k USD! I considered that used one, but it was left hand drive and if I'm dropping cash, I'm getting the best version. This ZL1 had been converted by HSV to RHD. Anyways, The bottom line is the media isn't being honest with you all. Almost every other country taxes the hell out of anything made in the USA. And I know cause I'm here and have to pay. But up until the last few years, the USA hasn't been pushing reciprocation. If the US treated Thailand, Like Thailand treats products made in the USA, maybe Thailand would drop their Tariffs and I could drive this ZL1 for under 100k USD. The same should go for China, especially China. So, I was actually thinking about making a show car out of this ZL1 because the car shows are huge here. But I couldn't do that with my last sportscar numbered 0822 of 1500 and I'm sure I won't be able to do it with this ZL1 (#325 of 375 RHD ZL1s). Whether it's numbered or not, it will be my daily driver and I'll put 250,000kms on it within 10 years. I'm 58 (but still drive like I'm 28), so I plan to keep her for the long haul. The ZL1 was just the best option of all the cars with potential. The comparable BMW M4 was 7.7 Million Baht. And I'm not going to be able to do any upgrading with this car performance wise at all. But for another Million Baht, I'll upgrade this to about 1000hp. And if somehow this baby gets hurt, but the engine survives, I'll do the fly'in Miata engine swap. I can get a used 95 Miata for a mere 20 grand USD, ..... If you want to play, you got to pay

It was between ZL1 addons and ACS. Most people thought ACS was better just spendy. So me being me went with the ACS. Cause if I spend cash, I want the best. Also of note, I probably would have bought ZL1 ADDons, but they were (and still are) out of stock on the license plate holder. Cause I was going to bundle buy. And that extra time got me looking in other places for the same products. That's when I learned about ACS Composites. There's a good business lesson there....

OK, done with this thread. Thanks all for the information. I might do the same with the license plate holder....

Appreciate the real world take Bangkok, and you’re correct. In the West we can get away with having our blinders on. Good luck with the Camaro, she should be pretty unique in Thailand.

I've had ZL1addons for about 2 years ago, survived 2 season of autox, wacking cones when they got in the way.

Would buy again.
