The ZL1 feels like a different car compare to the 2SS. I haven't pushed it yet since it only has 122 miles, but I can't wait until is broken in.
She's a beauty. Welcome.

Agreed.

I was driving home from work the other night and saw some tail lights a few cars ahead that I didn't recognize and struggled to indentify. FWIW, I'm pretty good at ID'ing a vehicle at night by its headlight/tail light signature.... as all of my enthusiast Camaro6 friends can attest, that can save your a** from a heavy right foot. Long story short; after a few turnoffs in front of me I realized that it was a 2019 SS. I thought to myself, dang! that looks pretty darn sweet.

I know... I posted a reference or two to google eyes. My apologies.

Anyway, it was great to see another Gen 6 on the rock.

Sorry OP for hijacking your thread. Congrats on your Z.

Sweet ride dude. I’m just at about 700 miles on my ‘19 A10. Like others have said, the brakes on the car push your guts and brains forward hauling it down. Amazing brakes. I’m just now learning how to get the most out of the tranny. And a 3.7 second 0-60 on cold tires in December in upstate NY is pretty cool.

It's devastating right after you come to the realization what just happened after getting smacked by a bunch of airbags!

I wasn't sure about the new tail lights when I first saw the new photos for the
2019, but also think that it does look better with darker colors. I live in LA and I don't see many ZL1's around, mostly RS and SS. I've only seen 2 since I purchased the 2SS in Feb. I do see a lot of Teslas!Lol!

Thanks! I love the A10 and how quickly it changes gears. I only have 170 miles on mine and I can't wait until it reaches 1,500 miles. The torque is insane on the ZL1! I call it the neck breaker because I had a 3 level fusion on my neck 7 months ago and I can feel the pressure on my cervical spine during heavy acceleration! I do agree with you about the brakes, they're even better than my recently deceased 2SS.

This is the part that SS owners don't get. You can slap on a whipple or procharger to the LT1. you can even throw on a ZL1 body kit and a big wing... it will never be a ZL1

where are you driving? There are a couple dozen ZL1s driving around LA. Every Camaro meet will have 4 or 5. Each major car club in LA (West Coast maros, HeadTurners, Elite Camaro Family) all have multiple Zl1's. We've even had ZL1 only meets and canyon runs.

I'm in Valencia, Ca and I drive the 5 freeway which is close to my house.I usually drive to N Hollywood, Burbank, LA and other places a few times a month. But I probably average 10,000 miles a year, not much compare to many people I know.

Nice!
We have a 17 2SS and a 18 ZL1 in the garage and both my wife and I prefer driving the ZL1:-)
