That's plenty of meat. I'm not a great example, but I've already been 1.72 on these tires with 20psi in them. I've barely scratched the surface of their capability. I have them stretched a little on a 9.5 inch wide Racestar.

A buddy of mine runs 5's in the eighth on a 26x8.5 tire.

Still, not a good choice for my 10.5" rim width.

Fastest IRS GTO in the world goes 8.10s in the 1/4 on a 26x8.5 with low 1.3x 60's..... fwiw
