Love this car.
Yeah, you can hear the difference when you get on it. With the Roto-Fab, ported throttle body, and removing the plate, it's about 3/4 of a Hellcat . . . i.e. finally acceptable.

I did mine today. Have roughly 6K miles on it and didn't notice any oil under the lid or within the chamber. Took the sound deadener out put everything back together. Went to take it for a test drive and an alarm went off... constant beeping sound even while the car was turned off. Then started to smell smoke, lifted the hood, could smell it but couldn't find anything burning or wrong... waited about 30 minutes, started it again and no beeping and I haven't noticed any burning smell.... any clues? Thanks

Maybe pinched wire with lid?

I found a piece of white tape, looks almost like sports tape on the manifold... that might explain the burning smell, but not the constant beeping alarm that went off. No wires found pinched under the lid. Thanks though for the suggestion.

Checked it out again and found nothing wrong, so started it up, no alarms, took it for a hard drive and it ran fine, no more burning smell and the whine is definitely louder than before.... sounds really good in mid range rpm's. I do have a TM TB, RotoFab intake and Fuse 51 removed as well.

Fuse 51 is for what? I’m assuming the active exhaust.

And when you say removed, you mean you remove it and keep it off?

Correct on the fuse 51 question. NPP no longer opens and closes based on drive selection (Touring, Sport, Track... etc).

You want hella blower whine, get the NX lid. I'd post in cabin videos, but they'd just give me another warning for posting street racing videos. haha

Ok. If I remember correctly the fuse has to be pulled before the car is started correct? Because the valves are left open when the car is turned off (I believe).

One other question. I thought there was an option on the mode selector to keep the exhaust loud REGARDLESS of the driving mode you select. Is that not the case?

$900 for just the sound is a hard sale man. I have seen the videos and the whine is quite noticeable.

"Track" mode keeps it open most of the time, but it will still close when cruising.

And, yeah, I'd like the lid, but $900 is crazy.
