Sounds good. For me to move to this chiller, I have to do what Ben said and move from an air to air to a water to air and there's no telling how much that costs so. I'm just screwed I guess. haha. Oh well, I'll live through you guys. I'll just have to keep using meth as my cooling agent.

That was a Procharger in the pic up there, but you have to get rid of the air to air intercooler and go air to water. I still need to find time to write that up, but on the C7 air to air cooler, we were spinning the blower nearly 76K RPMs making 21 PSI into the LT 427 and there was a 8 PSI pressure drop through the intercooler, meaning the . We slowed the blower down to 70K blower RPMs, making 25 PSI and nearly 200 WHP more!
I’m interested in being part of your group buy, but would like some more info first;
1. Does your kit require the removal of any stock heat exchangers?
2. Does your kit include rubber or braided nylon hoses?
3. Since you claim to have this installed on your own ZL1, can you please provide your Dyno results and any other pertinent information we should know about your chiller system?
4. Are there any weather temperature restrictions...can you still drive your vehicle in colder temps?
5. I’m also interested in upgrading to the Whipple 2.9. Does this plug & play kit work with the Whipple as well or are there kit modifications?
6. Do you offer any warranty or guarantee.

Thank you!

Yes, we do remove 1 as it's no longer needed

2. Does your kit include rubber or braided nylon hoses?
A combination of both if I recall, but def braided and our billet cooling adapters I need to get a pic of Intimidator's car tomorrow.

3. Since you claim to have this installed on your own ZL1, can you please provide your Dyno results and any other pertinent information we should know about your chiller system?
Compiling data now

4. Are there any weather temperature restrictions...can you still drive your vehicle in colder temps?
Cold temps are just fine. You won't have/need the AC on in freezing temps, but coolant in the system keeps it from freezing and also extends the boiling point.

5. I’m also interested in upgrading to the Whipple 2.9. Does this plug & play kit work with the Whipple as well or are there kit modifications?
Yes, the cars that have it to date have:
Eaton 1740 OEM LT4 Supercharger
Whipple 2.9L LT4
Procharger F1X
Eaton 1740 Supercharger and 85mm Turbocharger (Compound Boost)

6. Do you offer any warranty or guarantee.
Yes the product will have a 1 year warranty starting out on parts.

How would you integrate it for a road course car? Specifically a Whippled SS1LE with the extra LTR?

The temps in the front mount tank were 34* on the OUTSIDE of the tank prior to insulating it. The water temps inside were even lower I cannot wait to share some of the testing from these test cars, after I compile the data!

1. For starters, guys claiming the OEM HX are enough to stave off heat from the increased boost are very very misinformed. On our Mustang dyno which simulates real world load, the X800 package could not even get through a single COLD pull without seeing knock/KR in the upper RPM band This is with the common 15% pulley too, so guys not addressing cooling with boost upgrades are leaving a LOT of power on the table.

2. Something I didn't consider, but makes complete sense from a physics standpoint is the chilled air in the intercooler bricks inside the supercharger had such a massive temperature drop that the logs showed 1-2 PSI LESS BOOST because the molecules are so much closer together, so the quality of volumetric air was vastly improved. So, the engine is safer and there is less stress on the internal components with a more efficient system.

3. Lastly, anyone whom has made back to back pulls on a supercharged car can tell you first hand, that the heat soaking robs power and this becomes exponential with the pulls. We were able to do hot pull after hot pull and the power was repeatable within just a 3% margin of error! Now a cold glory pull will still show major dividends for the guys who are getting it up to the starting line with minimal heat, but for real world applications where engine run time is a factor, the system is very impressive and continues to wow us!

This was nearly an hour after the car was shutoff in a 100* humid shop! Again, the entire system was insulated after as you want to guard the chiller system as much as possible from external heat influence.

Speaking of, the billet NX lid is a beautiful piece and there is some improved airflow with it; however, it absorbs heat much more than the OEM lid and any of you guys using it should consider having it ceramic coated prior to installation. You could cook an egg on that thing after running lol

Well, I have my car back...OMGOSH, talking about Badass!
The Chiller is amazing!!!
Ben can explain this to everyone, but this is my first hand data....
While a Weapon-X they did a full dyno pull for my son and I, and then took it out to check the Street tune and chiller.
Air temp today was 94 degrees in Cincy.
While cruising, Intake Air temps with the chiller were 114 degrees, which climbed to high 130's to low 140's when Blake was beating on it...then it cooled right back down.
Water temps to the blower were between 59 and 63 degrees.
On my hour and ten minute drive home, water temps to the blower never went past 62 degrees, and when a cloud came out, dropped to 54 degrees.
This system is so freakin cool, and i just have it set at 50/50 cabin AC to Chiller...no difference in cabin Cooling at all, it actually felt cooler???

I’m curious after seeing the results on the procharged car if pd guys could get away with not running the heat exchanger up front and still have even better results than they would have had without this system. This would eliminate the bypass switch, the heat exchanger, a lot of extra hoses, simplify the install, eliminate a possible switch failure down the road, save weight, and lower the cost considerably. Am I way off in my thinking? Any thoughts of offering a simpler system?

Congrats!

Looking forward to seeing your new numbers. Did your son get some new pics? Enjoy.
