Sorry I am a bit late on this, but I think motorhead has a point. It all depends how long you are planning to keep the car. If you are going to sale it in a 5 years or so do not expend a cent on any spray, but if you are going to keep it, just avoid the salt out of it. Washing the car does not take the salt out of it at least not underneath, slots between metal panels, etc.

In the North we have 'Salt Rides' cheap cars that we let the salt eat up.
