I wonder why some of these ZL1's have $1,300 gas guzzler tax and some have $2,100? It is not auto versus manual.

Autos have the $2,100 GG tax. The GG tax is tiered based on MPG.

Thanks for the information. I pulled the stickers on those two cars (auto, MT) and the auto is more $, but the combined mpg is the same. A little confused on why they are different. Maybe city mpg is more important?

Auto: 16/13/21 (comb/city/hwy)
MT: 16/14/20 (comb/city/hwy)

Nav is kinda worthless if you have Android or iPhone. Android Auto / CarPlay w/ Google Maps is a far superior experience

Good point, probably that made the difference in mpg. Good reminder, I need to order a CAGS bypass. First mod when I get the car. I did this the first week of my previous Corvette and Camaro. They are only $16.99 now.

Not worthless to me. I have used both and built in NAV is more convenient for me. I hate fiddling with my phone. Either in my briefcase or pocket and not very accessible.

Don't all Camaros (or at least the higher trim level like you're looking at) have wireless Android Auto / Apple CarPlay? That means no fiddling with your phone, and it can stay in your briefcase or pocket. I know my phone automatically connects as soon as I turn on the car, and I can pull up the navigation on the vehicle's screen and just go from there; don't even have to touch my phone at all.

I got the NAV just so the speed limit would show up in the HUD.
