Clutch suggestion

I`m need of a clutch ASAP what recommendations are available? The car is on nitrous (200hp progressive)and the stock clutch won`t cut it.

How much do you want to spend?

These always get great reviews and the cost is reasonable:

The Monster LT1-S twin disc looks pretty good to me. It's basically the GM clutch from the C7 with a flywheel for our cars.

Have the monster LT1s, did tons of research before getting one, and use the steel flywheel for centrifugal; daily driver, also use the monster Billet bearing support as the stock slave needs it......and yes it accepts the stock slave, and many aftermarket,( most) don't) and it drives like stock and does not chatter like some POS clutches.... And the price is right for a dual disc that does do 700 HP and torque really...….

Out of curiosity, is there any advantage of replacing the clutch if your stock LS3 one is working OK?

stock is rated for about the stock power level, you fry it too much and sometime your getting a tow until ones done basically..... stock clutch is not bad actually....its the damn throwout bearing support that melts if a clutch rider and then it can make things not work well at all....

The RPS twin carbon with aluminum flywheel is about the cats meow for performance oriented gains. It is 26 pounds complete (I have this in my C6 as the tilton wouldnt take the 1.50 60' abuse). Mamo offers a windowed steel flywheel complete it weighs 31 pounds. Wear is non existent and can completely be rebuilt. I drove a 16 pound clutch in my 5th and went 11.5@120 with my bolt on set up. The additional 10 pounds of mass would make this an easily driven clutch. Most people love the heavier clutches but i prefer not slow the acceleration down with the added MOI.
