Hey guys, I need some help!

Hey guys! Im new to the camaro family, Im 16 and I just got a 2010 Camaro SS and I absolutley love it, Im planning on getting some gloss black 2014 z/28 rims and to black it all out. But Id really like it to be louder, so here is my question, whats the best way to make my car louder without it being obnoxious? Thanks guys!

Don't be THAT guy bro. 16 year olds with loud Camaro's are annoying. Get a good flowing aftermarket exhaust and you will not have to worry about NOT being noticed. A great looking car (5th gen Camaro) and a good exhaust will do it. You don't have to be loud just for loudness sake.

You will get a bunch of good answers over the next few days. What I wonder is have you taken a picture of your car? And would you then take another of your car after you begin the modifications? Is your car a 1SS or 2SS?

Sorry to thread jack , just wanted to say nice grand national you got there . Don’t see them around much these days .

To the op. Do yourself the favor and get long tubes headers and go from there . You’ll find after the header install you most likely be looking at how to quiet it down . After I had my long tubes installed on my truck without cats and only a Corsair cat back . I was loud AF.. had to add a resonator to help the noise .

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the sweet ride. Just remember, with great power comes great responsibility. If I had a 2010 Camaro SS as a 16 year old, I'd be dead right now. Keep it between the ditches.

That being said, check out www.solo-performance.com for a great exhaust that won't break the bank, sounds freaking awesome, and won't rattle your teeth out of your head cruising down the road. It's made in America and Steve is great to work with.

wtf 16 and got a camaro lol. the insurance here for an 18 year old would be about 1 billion USD alone.

Is it bad that when Drew said 1 Billion all I heard was Dr. Evil lol.

I agree with Pyroguy. I also have the Solo exhaust on my car. It is a nice sounding exhaust.

Is it a LS3 (Manual) or a L99 (Automatic)? This is a huge factor when choosing an exhaust because the L99's have Active fuel management which cuts from 8 cylinders to 4 in order to save on fuel economy.

BLASPHEMY! My L99 has no such thing LOL

The Solo Performance exhaust system does a good job on not making it sound like butt when it switches from 4 - 8 and back again for those that do not have it tuned out.

For the 2013 the 2SS/RS had halo headlights, the roof drain rails were the same color as the car as was the little shark fin on the roof. The SS on grill and trunk was red. Those are the easy ways to tell. May be the same for 2010?
