OMG, that is ridiculous! That's when it is totally not worth it. Yeah, I know. I certainly admit we have it easy in that regard, and it sucks for people like yourself that just want to enjoy making some changes to the car without getting ripped off. The unfortunate cost of owning an American car in the EU.

Do you know and trust anyone in the states that can make the purchase for you and ship it? Family or friends in the US?

yeah import taxes in europe are a fekin joke. they even charge us here in sweden 10 usd for the letter with the invoice for the 25% taxes.
governments are too greedy. would be ok if we could buy the parts here from a local supplier, but almost nothing is available not even a cabin filter.
when this covid crap is all over me and my son will have a small holiday in the states and buy a load of stuff and post it home a a gift to ourselves. hopefully will be no taxes.
we'll see

Sometimes the problem with the seller is that he charges meaningless postage, but the biggest problem is in EU policy.

Trade with the US is severely disadvantaged in support of the European market.
In addition, taxes are calculated not on the price of the part, but on the total sum of the price of the part and the price of transport. Therefore, such prices.

Otherwise, unfortunately ... I don't know anyone in the states.

But unfortunately. Even if my brother sends it, for example, as you don't carry it directly in your luggage, they charge taxes on everything.

Katech charges a postage of $ 260 to zip code 43603. I wonder what the real price is. After all, TB is nothing bulky, heavy or too fragile.

I just checked it and it was anywhere from $270.00 to $361.00 to ship from my zip code to the zip you provided above. That’s crazy.

I will ask ....
Does it make sense to go with a larger diameter ..? 95 mm?
Or should I keep 90mm? ..because of my "little" modes.

I will definitely not go the BBK. I read a lot of posts about low quality pieces. Only a few people were satisfied with their TB.

Finally, a local member contacted me that she was using TB from soler performance. I looked at their products and it looks like very good work.
Plus their throttle controller, a new tune and it must be perfect.

I have heard they make quality parts. Someone from the forums bought one of their Throttle body/Throttle Controller packages and was very happy with it.
