Looking to add E85 and a fuelMax voltage booster- Educate me please

So car was finished eariler this year and I absolutely love it. I had NO desire to go meth. I have it on my C7 and I hate the unreliability of the Alky pumps. Anyways I want a winter project and figured I could add a DSX flex kit and a JMS PowerMax V2. With a new tune I am hoping to gain between 60-80 rwhp. These are both easy and safe installs. Am I missing anything.

Nada bud. Stock fuel all the way around. Hoping the booster just maximizes the factory system. This is not a daily and I am not looking to touch fuel system otherwise. If I have some SAFE minimal gains on E85 I would be happy. I dont expect the world. Just sounds cool to me to be able to fill up on E85 and get additional horsepower.

So E85 is much less energy dense than gasoline, with e85 you need 33% more fuel overall than gasoline. While I can't give you a definite answer l, I do doubt that a voltage boost on the stock system will be enough to run E85 while boosted. I'd say for your goals you'd need a complete LT4 fuel system at a minimum (low side, high side and injectors)

If by “stock” you mean LT1, then you are already maxed out at 550/600 (going by your signature) on 93 octane.

Yep, LT4 fueling and JMS will be the minimum “cover charge” to enter the club.

LOL love it. Well damn I was hoping to cheat here. Looks like a pipe dream. I dont want to do LT4 fueling. I guess just stay where I am. Corvette makes 700 with meth but I dont want to deal with that on my Camaro.

Port injection is your best bet.

Yep, and you'll probably be entering the club at e40 or so without a cam.

Agreed, get a port injection system to complement your factory LT1 fuel system and watch how high the combo gets you on pure e85, its nuts.

So you add port injection to your direct injection? What is the kit for that and how would you control these injectors?
