Rear Brembo on a 2020 LT1???

So I have a 2020 LT1 and it came with front Brembo brakes and standard rear brakes. The SS come with front and rear Brembo. I was wondering if it is possible to simply install SS rear Brembo brakes on an LT1. Has anyone done this?

Nope, not feasible due to park brake differences https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=480579

Unfortunately there'd be some extra stuff needing done to work around, so it's not a direct-fit solution.

Thank you. There is some good info there.
But the thread you linked is a 2016 1LT (V6 or i4) brake swap with a Brembo SS (v8) setup for the rear. The 2020 LT1 is like 95% SS and share almost every part in the braking system because they are both for the same V8 engine setup. This is why I asked if anyone has tried this for the 2020 Camaro LT1 V8.

UPDATE:

I just did a complete parts list breakdown on rear brake system for the 2020 LT1 and it shares the same rear brakes as the 1LT. So the above attached thread holds true for the 2020 LT1 as well.

Nope. The 1lt does not have parking brake shoes. There is an electric actuator that is part of the caliper, unless you want no parking brake. There are a lot of other mods needed also.

Unfortunately you have to change the spindles for the 15" conversion on a LT1.

Should have picked up a 1SS or order it with the LT1. But then ordering extras on a LT1 defeats the purpose of a lower price V8. You don’t get a lot of goodies with the LT1, the square set up and no track mod was enough to scare me away form saving a few thousands of dollars. Don’t get me wrong it’s still got the same power but missing some mods and appearance looks.

Even the official Chevy accessories site lists the rear Brembo upgrade as compatible with the 2020 LT1...?

That’s why I ended with a ss. I see no value in the lt1. They are so close in price.

Someone should buy it and have the dealer install, then ask for the install pdf

I'm sure a bunch of LT guys would be over the moon if this is the case lol

OP why do you want 4 piston Brembos on the back? Rear Brembos are really a track thing to prevent brake fade and go nicely if you upgrade to the six piston Brembos on the front.

I painted my 1lt back brakes red to Match the front brakes. These brakes stop great from 115 mph.
