Any experience with the Morimoto XB taillights?

I’m interested in switching my taillights on my 2015 and can’t decide between the Hero and the Morimoto XBs. I know a few here have the Hero version, which has the delay, but has anyone installed the Morimotos? With a 10 year warranty from a fairly reputable company it seems like a good option, but I’d love some thoughts. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure those are the same thing. I have had my Hero tail lights for over 6 months and have had no issues with the delay driving or even with my friends following me.

Thanks! I’d love to find out if it really were the same taillight. Might anyone have that info?

I’ve been running around with the Hero tail lights for several months now. The delay, although present, is blown way out of proportion. I haven’t had so much as a close call, and with all the tailgaters behind me as I creep around town, that’s saying something.

Thanks! Are you coming from RS LED taillights or the basic lights?

Stock. I have the 1LT non-rs camaro. My buddy pulled off the bumper and swapped out the tail lights. Don't even sweat the delay, brother; it's a non-issue. Aside from the fact that your high mount brake light has no delay (relatively speaking), the half-second delay on the Hero lights haven't been an issue at all for me.

Yes, they're the same. Going on 1.5 years with mine, still no complaints.
