....And still not done with my cam swap. Wow, what a PITA that oil pump was. I tied fishing line around the bolt so I didn't lose it in the oil pan....which I would have around 20 times.

It should be done tomorrow.

Replaced brake rotors and pads. Factory parts were still serviceable but I had a little "thump" in the rear brakes at higher speeds. I haven't mic'd the old rotors yet but they look usable with a light cut, pads were not even half worn. At 95,000 miles I have to think at least the pads had been replaced by the PO, possibly rotors as well but like I said I haven't measured them.

Powerstop Extreme rotors and pads ordered from Rock Auto, they look decent and stop very well! I can recommend this setup for anyone wanting to make a change from stock.

You have 167 k. Miles ???
Just say that with the original oil pump, and I'll go get a glass of whiskey.

Washed it, then went for a nice drive. It's pollen season here and in a day or two it'll be yellow again.

That is super nice. What did that set you back? I thought I did good just having my detailed today and new Camaro emblems put on the fenders.

I have been here 8 years with all my cars at 15% or darker and havent been pulled over. They dont care near as much here as they did in Louisiana.
