Nitrous and no lift shifting
I recently installed the N2MB wot box. I have a NOS progressive system. I`m curious as to how NLS would work with N20. And I also get my TPS signal for the wot box from the T-body wire. Can I also use the same wire for my N20 TPS signal without an issue.

You do know they make a version that combines the wot box with a nitrous controller? http://www.npcompleteperformance.com/nitrous-box I personally believe this would be a much better solution and is something I am looking at my self. I also believe you can send your unit in for upgrading.
good luck! peace

I thought no lift could be taken from the ZL1 and programmed into your tune with HP tuners etc.

You do know the n2mb does have a nitrous window switch? I would really email n2mb and ask them your question and see if your really even need anymore equipment

This is from when I asked this same question. I was told this will simulate NLS but I think on the ZL1 it actually holds rpms by throttle by wire closing the TB. This allows it to stay on a rev limit rpms dont drop like when you accidentally over rev and hit the limiter it bounces more like a Corvette or a rice rocket.
if you have hp tuners, you can go under "cutoff,DFCO" and change the rpm hyst. to 10rpm and go under the cutoff type and disable ETC and FUEL. Leaving only spark to cut it. This should get the bouncing effect instead of just completely cutting power. However, if you have cats be mindful that extra fuel is not good for them. |
