Exactly what my buddy who's your dealer counterpart in NE Ohio said.

He also said some of the models will be a v8 that produces 385 horsepower, and then a twin turbo v6 that will produce 600 horsepower and will be in the low $70,000 range. Thought it was pretty cool so thought I'd share. I don't know if any of this is true, it is just what I was told.
It already appeals to the younger generation, they are the biggest fans of it

It think he's got some crossed wires. There is a rumor that the ATS will get a 385+ HP TT V6 (LF3) and some speculate that will make it to the Camaro. There is also speculation that a yet unnamed replacement for the LS9 will be a 600+ TT V8. We know the LF3 exists but don't know if it will make it to the Gen6 Camaro. The other engine is pure speculation at this point and doesn't fit well with the approach GM has taken in the past with their high-output V8s.

Hahahahahahah, what is he smoking ! That would make a lot of sense, lower the HP on the v8 and increase it dramatically on the V6 and charge more for an engine that will give you 1/3 less lifespan
