I feel like you’d likely have better crafts people in England doing things the old way. Out here they watch a YouTube video and suddenly they’re experts at anything. I was watching an English car show with that useless fast talker that buys the cars and has the mechanic partner do all the work. Anyway they took a steering wheel and had it redone by a gentleman (notice I didn’t say dude) that’s been refurbishing steering wheels for what looks like 50 years in his small shop. He did amazing work!

I know exactly what you mean. The shop that did my steering wheel is a very reputable one and it's been there for a long time. It's a small shop an hour drive from London. In fact there is a big Mustang community in the UK and a lot of these guys had their steering wheels redone by them. It's top job, I wouldn't go there otherwise!

Used to be, but not anymore, there is at least one vendor that offers a heated version (for a cool $150 extra): https://carbonaddons.com/products/20...steering-wheel

It didn't throw codes on my car. It's not an issue.

Yes, their wheels look really good and have a lot of options. I got my CF wheel from Wildhammer 3-4 years ago. No heat on their wheels back then. I don't care about that anyway. My car is stored when it is cold.

Here is mine and also a pic of a thing to look out for/warning message! Be careful only the wheel comes off during the process and make sure the steering coil spring assembly stays in place !!!

I swapped mine out for a carbon fiber unit 3 months ago and it's amazing: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...ostcount=13777

In the meantime I also replaced the original shift paddles that came with the wheel and got less angular ones that are still long and beautiful, but leave more finger room and cluster visibility.

I am not a fan of Alcantara on the steering wheel, so that was one of the first things I changed and it is heated

Check out C2 Customs, they have this wheel available right now. I was looking at it for my car (also rapid blue), but I really like the alcantara on track. It would look awesome on a RB car.
