SS Emblem

Has anyone purchased this SS Emblem? I'm looking to replace the one on the front grill on my '16 SS. It's all faded and you can barely tell it was red. If you have any tips on getting the old one off?

Also I noticed I'm missing one of the cup holder liners (Closest to the dash). Know where to order those?

You can make it work, but it's not the same as the emblem on the back. The front emblem is made as part of the whole bracket that mounts to the dash. That being said if you remove that front bracket/emblem, you could probably drill the studs/tabs out and pop the emblem off. Then just used the double stick tape on the NEW emblem and stick it on.

I'll see if I can get some pics tonight. -I'm not currently running the front emblem so I think it's just sitting in a drawer. Should be able to get an easy pic.

take a look at emblempros.com. They are an american company licensed by GM that specialize in a variety of high quality customize able emblems. I have bought from them a lot over the past decade. You can email them and he will make sure you get the right size, color, metal finish you want.

You can probably but the whole part from GM. It’s a clip-on assembly. I know this because mine is loose and can be pulled off. Found it when I washed the car for the first time.

Check this out

....Mrgoodbytes posts a pic of the front part of the bracket. You can see the hole where the pin goes into. if you can seperate your existing badge from this part of the bracket, sticking a new emblem on should be easy.

I was looking at mine and I don't see how it clips on.

The backing plate will come off but you have to do it from behind the grille. The badge is just taped on with 2 pins for alignment. Its not clipped in.

I have a thread in the Cosmetic Exterior Modifications subforum where I took my badge off and painted it.
