First 1000 Miles On 2LT RS 2.0t
Just put the first 1000 miles on my 16 2LT RS 2.0T. I couldn't be any happier with this car. It is a total blast to drive and as soon as I learn everything it can do, along with all of it's features, it will be even more so. As a first time Camaro owner the 2.0T puts out plenty of power for me. I can't imagine what V6 or V8 power must feel like. The 8 speed transmission shifts flawlessly. If you are waiting on yours, the wait will be worth it. And as far as blind spots go, I put a small 1" mirror (got it at a motorcycle shop) on the far outside bottom on the drivers side and pretty much eliminated any problems on that side. My bigger concern is the passenger side, especially around the rear window back quarter area. Will be putting a small mirror on that side soon. Now if I can just get all of the my-link features working right, I'll be a happy camper. Totally different than the previous version in my 13 Malibu. GM!

Search for the proper way to adjust your mirrors especially if this is your first smallish coupe. It truly does help.
That car does look great though! |

Juat did a search and I see some on Cars.com.. Nice!
I haven't driven a Camaro with the 2.0,bjt have an ATS and it was very zippy even with the added weight of awd. |

I am pretty certain that the 2.0T will get some love from tuners...this car could prove to be the modern-day Silvia that we never quite got from Japan.

I will post a picture of the 2.0T engine bay sometime this evening when I get a chance, if nobody else does it first It has plenty of room for additional additions that the "tuners" will be able to think of.
I think that people will be surprised by how much power it has to begin with, especially for a beginner like me. I didn't just go for a entry level pony car. I did load it up with the RS 2LT A/T and upgraded the 20" rims to the bright silver. Sticker price was over $34000. |

Sweet! Thanks for the write up and pictures. It looks like it fills out the engine bay nicely.
If you're having issues with blind spots, adjust your mirrors out more. You shouldn't see the hips of the car unless you lean over a bit. With the mirrors adjusted out all the way, all three rear view mirrors will act as a single continuous mirror. The blind spot notification in the mirror is sort of pointless; because I see someone coming up on the side of me before they're setting off the alert, and I can see them the whole time they're in my "blind spot". Just some food for thought. Congrats on the purchase!
