Ooops! Forgot something.

Been driving my new ZL1 and thought the ride was somewhat stiff. Only have 150 miles on it so, I decided to do a little investigation for myself. While I was looking at the inner wheel liner trying to decide what material it was, I found my problem.

During prep of the car by the dealer they forgot to remove the blocks in the front coils for shipment. A quick trip to the dealership and they immediately put it up on the rack and removed them, no harm done. Car now sits about an inch lower in the front. Just a heads up for new owners out there.

Ford dealerships are notorious for leaving these in the RS's even though there is a notice right on the windshield to remove...Yes Car dealerships suck for the most part.

When I bought my '15 ZL1 I had the same issue - the dealer did not remove the yellow blocks either.

Sure made a big difference in ride - as well as my headlight aim.

Yup. I took delivery of my 18 ZL1 and first thing I asked was if they removed those. All 3 of the people there looked confused then I pointed them out to them. They tried to say that those are supposed to be there. So I pulled up the dealer prep for the ZL1 and showed them they were not.

Quick lift visit and they pulled them off. I still don't see how dealers forget to do a pre delivery inspection on these cars.

My dealer left them on as well. Got a whole bunch of accessories for their mistake.

Out of all the forums I'm on, I see this regularly with Camaro's which is bizarre. Wonder why Chevy just can't get it right with those.

My idiot dealer left mine in as well. Did 700 miles home and found them when I was doing my own personal PDI.

Definitely save those. When I trailer-ed my car home they were needed to hold the front end up enough to clear a lip on the trailer. If you flat bed the car, I thought these were supposed to go back in too.
