Question about changing the oil filter
So I changed my oil on my Camaro but got the wrong size oil filter so I ended up using the oil filter and put in the new oil into the engine. I’m going to change the filter on Wednesday and I’m wondering if I should buy new oil again? I’m sure the new oil I just put in got mixed with all the shitty old oil (it was pretty dirty).

Some will come out when you pull off the filter, but not the entire amount of oil. Fill the new filter with oil, screw it back on and start the car for five minutes , turn it off and bring it up to mid stick with additional oil. Done…
That being said, because it's not a Formula One racecar, personally I would just wait till next oil filter change. Oil filters can go more than one interval. (Except if you're OCD.) |

No need....wait until 7500 then redo and that time you only need oil.
