Rear shocks magnetic ride

Hi
A couple of weeks ago I noticed my suspension a bit rough mainly at the rear passenger side, too much bouncing, also some vibration. I change settings (T to Sport back and forth) but I don't notice any changes. Today I removed the rear passenger wheel looking for damaged trail/upper arms, rod, etc., but did not see any. There is some play with the tie rod. Two other things I saw are a missing bolt from the axle to the differential and "grease" like residue on the shocks, not leaking but like old grease. Could this be a sign of bad shock. I don't see any codes. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately, these are typical symptoms of MRC shock failure, and your car is a 2016, which places it right into the higher probability failure range (of 5 to 7 years).

Caveat: I'm not a mechanic and this isn't a proper diagnosis, you should go see a real mechanic or a service department to be certain, but I can say that several members have had proven MRC failures with similar symptoms after a similar amount of time (assuming your mileage is typical).
