Hello from Northern ireland

Hi everyone.
After seeing Gen 5 Camaro's when we where lucky enough to get to America I fell in love and vowed to own one someday. That day came last Thursday and a 2013 V6 is now residing in my garage. I've pretty much always driven Italian for over 30+ years and this is my first adventure into the world of cars from across the pond so I have a lot to learn and that has brought me here to you guys in the hope you will look after me and help me not make a fool of myself.

Look forward to meeting you all, Stuart

Stuart a huge "Welcome to the Forum" and congratulations on your new purchase. I am sure you will fine this site a very user friendly one. I have found members that will bend over backwards to help others out.

You ever need something, give me a shout and I'll do all I can.

My first career was that of a United States Marine, for over twenty years I had the opportunity to travel far and wide, Pacific nations, South East Asia as well and many countries in Europe, however I never made it to beautiful Ireland. This is on my bucket list, waiting for the wife to hit the lottery and it will be "Ireland here I come"!

Again welcome and congratulations.

Stuart, CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Thanks guys for the kind welcome.

Since getting the car home I've been sorting a couple of little things out, one of the number plate lights fell off on the way home so I replaced both of them with LED ones.

I've decided before I take it out on our roads to detail it and ceramic coat it because it rains most of the year here

That and been playing with the MyLink system to see how much of it I can get to work here. XM is definitely out so I'm trying to figure out how to mirror my Iphone to the display.

Getting time to do everything is the biggest challenge but plans are, fit LPG (fuels expensive here), full set of coil overs so I can lower it and still play with ride, possibly new alloys if I can the right ones at a reasonable price, front splitter and carbon flat style sill splitters.

I always loved Magnum PI. They removed the seat in that 308 so 6'6 Sellick would fit in it. You'll be fine in here because of the Enzo I'm posting. Never go back mate!
