Have you played with the rev match yet? Best feature of the car! The trick is to let off the clutch quickly as soon as it revs and get right into your apex on a turn with good throttle. The computer is amazing at matching the rev to your speed.

I as others here I have driven manuals for 40+ years and I believe it has more to do with the throttle tip-in than the clutch, it's like there's a flat spot for the lack of a better term, the throttle body has erased that. For 4K+ miles I stressed taking off especially on hills, I don't even think about it now and enjoy the car a lot more. No idea on any additional HP but it was worth it for what it brings to the table.
