if you get heatsinked resistors and mount them to the frame with heatsink glue (not paste, but permanent thermal adhesive) then the resistors never really get above ambient underhood temps when everything is all warmed up.

Super cheap, been working on my 2016 since ...2016. You dont get much of an advantage of using less power ..since you effectively aren't, but meh. Chevy in their infinite wisdom decided to code and design their bcm's like idiot window lickers.

I've been using an older version of these for 6+ months, they're plug and play with built-in resistors, nothing else needed, and so far they work flawlessly: https://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-Resis...236_SY340_QL65

These don't heat up much, I did test them after installation, and are very bright as well. I understand that they probably won't last forever, but then again I hardly ever have the turn signals running for more than a minute at a time, so the dreaded LED heat death shouldn't be imminent.

I've been using these since last summer and I like them. Very bright, no hyper flash, P&P and haven't had any issues or problems with them, except I dropped one inside the housing and had to fish it out. Took awhile but got it done without removing the entire headlight. I suggest some electrical tape around the bulb and socket before inserting for safe measure.
