Aftermarket exhaust install - American Thunder
Hello! First time posting to the forums. Joined the Camaro family three months ago with a 2018 1LT RS A8 (non-npp)
I ordered the Flowmaster American Thunder axleback kit and planning on installing this weekend. Any tips for the install? From what I've read, it's just cutting the two original pipes and taking off the hangers than pushing the new mufflers in and using the provided clamps to lock them down. |

That is the way to do it, but may I suggest that you get the roller type exhaust pipe cutter, that way you get a clean straight cut (https://www.amazon.com/OEMTOOLS-2704...st+pipe+cutter)

If you have a sawzall it makes is way quicker. Measure twice and cut once....you don't get a second chance on your exhaust. Tape it off for a nice clean cut

Sawzall worked just fine when I put on my Borla Atak

So a couple weeks in and I'm getting some rattling between 1100-1400 RPMs. Checked everything under and it's all tightened down. Really hard to tell exactly where it's coming from but I would assume exhaust related. Any suggestions on what to check or how to fix?
