2019 1LE Style Front Lip for 2016-2018 Camaros Carbon Fiber Options... Any interest.

EDIT: Well, if anyone's interested we put the pre-sale up (you do NOT pay anything until it is ready to ship, this just gives us an idea of how much to have in stock when we release them)...

Fiberglass is here:

https://irocmotorsports.com/?post_ty...3&preview=true

Carbon Fiber is here:

https://irocmotorsports.com/product/...-carbon-fiber/

Price includes shipping but if anyone is local to Los Angeles, you can save $150 by picking it up locally.

Priced as promised, the infused fiberglass option is the same price as OEM normally, however we have it $50 off for the pre-sale.

Again, you don't pay anything now, you just click through the ordering, no payment info is taken, and we email when ready to ship to see if you're still interested.

Current ETA is to have these shipping January 9th-15th. Thanks everyone!

After seeing how beautifully the 2019 1LE Front Lip fit FNxR3DNECK's car in EMTNLSS's thread...

https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=540728

...we ordered one for one of the shop cars. Of course, like the OEM lips from 2016-2018, when we received it we realized it was still made of the same brittle plastic, prone to breaking, cracking and not easily repaired.

We are debating on just taking the chance and installing it, or doing what we did before and recreating it out of fiberglass/carbon.

Here's some pics from the previously mentioned thread of it on FNxR3DNECK's beautiful Hyper Blue Metallic car...

Obviously, if there's a market for it then that would make our decision much easier. If we do decide to recreate it, we'll have the ability to also offer it in carbon fiber (normal style or also any colored or patterned carbon fiber).

If the market is there then we would follow with side skirts and diffuser (we already are working on OEM fitting REAL Carbon Fiber ZL1 pieces).

Any interest? ESTIMATED (but a pretty solid estimate as we've done this style lip before) pricing would be...

Infused Fiberglass (Satin Black) - $550
Infused Carbon Fiber - (Any color or pattern) $1075

The product would be made in the USA. We would not offer paint options (no factory paint colors except Satin Black) but we would offer our Carbon Fiber in any color (red, blue, white, etc... weave) or pattern (camo, honeycomb, etc.).

Let us know your thoughts...

Thanks again to FNxR3DNECK for taking the risk and trying the new lip out on his car and EMTNLSS for making the original thread !

I’d be interested in a satin black version but, I’ll be honest, $550 would deter me very much. I’d just get the OEM piece at that rate.

Same as the above. I'm looking to get the front lip and side skirts for my car shortly. But, since those a prone to be damaged, I wouldn't pay the premium price for those

They are $45 cheaper than OEM and LESS prone to damage than OEM. OEM is brittle plastic, this is infused (not just your industry standard wet lay up) fiberglass and carbon fiber. A LOT stronger so scrapes won't break it like OEM and if you get in an accident any body shop can repair the infused fiberglass, unlike the OEM plastic.

Is there a way to have it primered only for us having the ability to either wrap or paint it ourselves?

Aye thanks for the shoutout haha I can say with 100% certainty that a fiberglass version of this splitter in satin black would be well worth the cost (as long as the paint matches and is good quality!) After I cracked my first splitter I ordered a fiberglass replica from RPI, it was much more resilient but the paint was crap, after 2 weeks on the car it was already VERY obvious that they cut corners on the paint.

Mark I think your proposed price point is very fair for a quality pre painted fiberglass piece. Hell I would be interested in one myself since my current plastic one probably won’t last too long considering how much track time my car sees lol

No problem. Will still come in black due to the material we use but would be straight out of the mold $50 cheaper.

Thanks! I was hoping it would be of the more flexible material like the ZL1s but NOPE lol.
