As for my sales experience, I'd say prices are pretty competitive and my salesman was straight forward. No complaints.

I got mine from harbor Chevrolet in Long Beach. Don't go there. That's all I got to say.

I got mine from Leah at Penske. Me and another guy got the very first 2 delivered to the dealership! Was totally worth the 3 month wait as my order was such an early production. Took delivery back on January 12th 2016. Still going strong!

I got my 2SS at Chevrolet of Montebello, the jury is still out... I have some paint issues that I will be addressing with them on Friday, I'll update my post after I have had my conversation with the managers.

Ok Guys here is the follow up... they took care of the paint issues, there were film patches on the trunk lid, I couldn't even see it unless it was in the shade. The detail group buffed them out and that seems to have fixed the problem. They also replaced the engine cover which was scratched. My car was a floor model at the LA Auto Show and someone got under the hood and scratched the paint off the "C" on the Camaro text. That's the good news, the bad news is this dealership does not really move great volumes of new cars, they are geared for folks with lower FICO scores, mine is in the top 1% so expectations are high. I would have bought from Penske, however they started jacking with the numbers in the last series of e-mails. They posted a 50th Anniversary with everything on it except for a sun roof one day it was 43,000 the next it was 46,000 or there about and has gone up from there. I had the check in my hand at the dealership, but wasn't going to pay 3K more. At the end of the day, Selman, Penske both have volume sales and large inventories. Montebello may have a lower price but you have to watch the market closely. I found my 2SS for about 39,000 but it took awhile. All dealerships pay the same for their cars, so when looking for a deal, you'll have a better chance at getting closer to your preferred number from a volume dealership than a store that doesn't move as many units because the volume dealerships will make it up on someone else. As far as service goes, I've gone to Harbor, Penske, Montebello and Selman... they are all pretty much the same. Hope this helps, safe travels.

Hear a lot of bad about Rydell. I get my car serviced at Keyes in Van Nuys and have been very happy with the minor stuff they've done so far.

I've bought both my Camaro's with them. No issue from my point of view.

Anywhere but harbor Chevy. I tried purchasing one from there. They wanted 2k down, apr at 23.9. With $700 monthly payment. I have good credit at 780. The number did not add it at all so I walked out. And I'm talking about buying a v6 with no package. So I went with WIn Chevy. Got my car with mosiac black, tech package, v6, for 25k at 2.9apr. Month $400 with no down at all. This was in 2016 around April. Go with Win. Contact Tommy from the Internet sales. He knows so much about the car and willing to help you get the best deal. If not he will tell you the truth.

I'll add a third vote. If you can make it to Carlsbad go see Ian at weseloh.

I bought mine from Guaranty Chevy in Santa Ana and it was a great experience but to be fair it was only because they had what I wanted on the 20% discount. Otherwise I would have used Ian.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to post my positive experience. I was searching for an SS 1LE and reached out to Ian at Weseloh Chevrolet because of the recomendations in this thread. Bought the car a few days ago. This was the smoothest car buying experience I've ever had. Ian was great. Excellent customer service and no bs games when I got there. I also highly recommend him.
