Im FAR from finish , the body is missing several design lines and fixes but this is a good start, and the Interior is in its blockout status...

the car actually looks about the same size as a 6gen, but compared to a same size 3D 6gen scanned from a real car I use to design parts the car is about a foot short.

for the people who say Im wasting my time... Im doing this because I can... and I like it! Im on my vacations so I have plenty of time, Im well aware this design will mostly never going to reach GM but still, its a way for me to keep improving my 3D and design skills and working on what I love to do

I like the rear the best. If only GM used something like that on the refresh.

Borrow an engine(s) and maybe tranny(s) from the high volume selling trucks if needed. The Silverado has a 355HP 5.3L and A8/A10, right? Put in a slightly hotter cam and intake and drop it in the Camaro for the base V8.
Me thinks you fell on your head or you’re wanting to buy a used car...

Whut? Why? a entry level V8 for under 27 grand will increase sales, and thats why Dodge cars are actually going up, the 5.7l dodge is slow as **** but heck is a good DD... an entry level small displacement V8 should not replace the SS that should be marketed as a performance oriented large CI V8,

I like what are you doing. just a few ideas.
The wheel well arc is too big it should be more like the wheel.
The front fender should be more defined. Now it looks too much like a dodge.
I find the rear window is too big. All in all a good start.

Thank you! Im working on the wheel arc right know, the rear window is large as it is a hashback based on the current corvette C7 / gen 3, 4 camaro

Can you give me more feedback on the Front fender? Thanks!

1. Young adults with typically lower paying jobs and a lot of school debt these days.
2. People with families who want a fun toy/3rd car for the weekends, but have higher priorities.

Neither of which can or will typically pay $40k+ for an impractical toy car. I'm not saying they get rid of the better performing trims, but I think they should really look at using as much as possible from other higher volume vehicles for base level Camaros. Weren't the first muscle cars usually fairly priced small/mid size cars with warmed over truck motors?

Edit: I'll also add that Millennials as a whole (sorry to generalize) might not want or buy a Camaro for various reasons, but in my experience, the generation just after them who are about high school aged now are absolutely primed to buy them, if they are affordable.
You left out one important factor, Insurance cost. You were planning a 355 HP V8 model, as entry level. But, the current (2019) V6 makes 355 HP in 3LT trim.

Also, the $25K figure, adjusted for inflation, is about $40K Today.

You also left out an important buying block: Bucket List Geezers like me

Don't most start off buying used cars? I know I - and most of my peers - did, but this was back in the '60s & '70s. I was 38 when I bought my first new car. Since then, I've bought new/used 50-50% of my cars. I wanted to buy a new 2018, but - after driving 140 miles, dealer raised price from Cars.com ad, AND Capitol One ERASED my $5K I'd accumulated when it was GM Card. SO, I drove another 150 miles and bought a used 2017 with 16K miles on it - but it had everything I wanted: NPP, MRC, nav, sunroof, AND it was in my favorite color. Saved $15K over new one

The edge of the fender should go up slightly (1“-2“as the old Corvettes but not as much and the hood should have the waves to the fender like the 6Gen Camaro. On the pics from the half front the brighter part.
The fog lights could be integrated in the head light. Like the angle eyes from BMW E39 or in the bumper. But that will be the next task.

Could you try making the rear side windows/B-pillar look more like a first gen rather than so similar to the 6th gen? I'm curious to see how much it will differentiate your design from the current.

Hate the Dodge Demon hoodscoop and the greenhouse back glass. I do not want a hatchback Base the back glass on the 75 - 81 with a real trunk. My 75 RS and 79 Z28 had good rear visibility and the truck had room for the t-tops and a real spare with is no longer needed. JMO.

Those Lights looks really Good!! And I like the Idea of the Hatchback.
