Thats how a few around me are. They'll easily sell whatever people skip out on. Heck - they should look at us ordering as doing them a favor as it gets stock into their store if we do back out. They cant lose during times like this. Under normal circumstances I get why they dont want to special order a car like a Camaro & refund deposits but these arent normal times at all.

I only had to put down $200. My mistake was wanting a V6, LOL. They are unobtanium right now and might be for a long time.

Well today is November 11, 2021. Exactly four months to the that I ordered a
2022 2SS Camaro convertible. Today I also received a phone call from the dealership I ordered it from. I was told that there isn't a 2SS convertible available in the country. They have no idea when mine will be built. They offered to refund my money. First off, it doesn't make any difference what is available around the country. I ordered the car specific to my taste. secondly, I have waited this long, waiting longer isn't going to make a difference. It would just be sitting in the garage over the winter. What is irritating it could be 2022 by the time I receive it. Our local 2023 auto show is in February. I almost feel like canceling my order and wait for the 2023 to come out. That is if they produce them. Chevy keeps everything a secret.
Sorry to whine, I am sure there are a lot of you out there just as frustrated.

Not single 2SS in the country huh?? Maybe try ordering through Joe

EDIT: Read that again...yea I it's possible 2SS convertible could be on a constraint. Regardless, you could still try it through Joe, he'll give you honest answers.

Same story here. Did new build specs over the phone with no commitments. It's actually a breath of fresh air, got to skip the seller pitch and lot games. Downside is the wait of course.

There are 2SS that have been built(ordered weeks/months ago) but as of right now, 2SS is on constraint and can't be ordered..RIGHT NOW. This applies to coupe and convertible.

Sounds like Joe might be the best option for a 2SS order
And just ship it
