I placed my order for my 2SS/1LE on May 6. My car is being delivered to the dealer today. Been a long 6 months, but well worth it. Sold my ‘14 SS/1LE back in 2016 so will be nice to have another one.

I'm doing my best to not keep bothering the salesman. The best thing is the dealership is about 30 miles away so its not like I can just drive by there.

I'll just keep watching everyone else's videos dreaming of the day it will be me.

Well the day has come. Got the call 11/15 the car was here, PDI done, going into the showroom. Made the deal(ughh, will the process ever change?!). Left the car until 11/17 when I took it to the airport to pick up the wife. Our second 1LE so she knew what to expect, except for the difference between Shock and Vivid Orange, she loves it. Already have splash guards on. Next:skip shift elimination, SRF dot4, front camber plates, track alignment, ppf for front bumper and rockers.Signed up for Auto Club track day 12/5. Got to get it broken in first...

Your not far from me (I'm in San Marcos), would love to see Vivid Orange in person at some point!

I've been waiting since March 2021 for a 2SS and currently driving a Toyota Corolla and its killing me that I'm not driving it/I could buy something off a lot.

However, the wait for the custom order will be worth it for the car that you will drive for 4+ years. So think about short term pain for long term gain.
the wait make's you appreciate the car even more

Good luck. You are going to love it! Funny the first car I ever owned was an 81 Z28. Mine was blue with silver stripes. Sold it a long time ago. I finally pulled the trigger on another Camaro and I love it. I’ll look forward to seeing what your new one looks like when you post a picture.

This helped me cope with my relatively short 2 month wait. https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...2+Chevy+Camaro

It keep popping up in my email showing its still for sale on the lot.

I want to wait to get a 2022 2SS (which is what I built) since I've never done a new car for myself before but man I want to get my hands on 1 now. How did you guys deal with the waiting process and what would you do if you were in my shoes?

I got the jones really bad..............
I placed my order on 8/23/21. My dealer did not get an allocation. I found one in transit to another dealer on 2/5/22. If I had to do it all over again I would find a few dealers nearby and order a car with each one of them under the conditions that I could cancel anytime for any reason without penalty. I'm still waiting for my car to be delivered. However it looks like 3/25 might be the day...7 months!! What if I didn't get the car that was already built/in transit???!!! I'd still be waiting I'm sure!!
