What’s the deal with 7th gen?
On YouTube everybody is saying that Chevrolet has confirmed Camaro will not be getting a seventh generation I was under the impression that General Motors has not confirmed that in the technical just a rumor. Where do we stand on this?

Does that mean that our 6th gen SS or Zl1 will hold some value until Chevy decides to bring the 7th gen?

Nothing confirmed; 7th Gen coming not confirmed and 7th Gen not happening not confirmed.
These are all rumors.

Yep, GM hasn’t and won announce it.
But there won’t be a next gen car until at least 2023 MY. SOP is about 80 weeks after the first cars with camouflage start showing up on the street. So at the very earliest March of 22 if we see pics tomorrow.

Just depends what happens if there is a 7th gen and the power plants it has, among other things. I'm not betting on anything though and plan to drive my Camaro into the ground, anyway.

It’s all rumors but if they do produce a 7th gen I think it moves to electric with 1st/5th gen styling cues. Capitalize on beloved Camaro design and be the 1st manufacturer with an electric performance car.
