Mine doesn’t sound like that either. Are you doing anything to the car when it makes that sound, or is the engine just idling? Maybe use a stethoscope to try and isolate the source of the sound.

Sounds like he's hitting the throttle and air is coming in. I've never had someone push the throttle when I'm outside the car with the hood open but that sound doesnt sound wrong to me. I've had a mic in the engine bay before and you can hear the air getting sucked into the engine.

This sounds like air to me, though can't be 100% sure there isn't a mechanical component. Audio is short and not the best.
I would try to isolate the location a bit better. Maybe use a carpet scrap or small throw rug to wrap around the intake parts. Also maybe drape over left and right side of manifold. Obviously avoid the moving parts, but something like carpet should muffle the sound enough to help you get a better idea of location.
My longshot guess on this is that the diaphragm part of the sound tube is the problem here. If you are not married to keeping the sound tube, there are many threads here on deleting it, which is pretty easy.

Don't have a clue about the noise, but I find it absurd that two Chevy dealers don't have mechanics competent enough to figure it out. I hope I don't ever have any serious mechanical issue while under warranty. These guys at the dealer can barely do an oil change without messing something up. Never mind something requiring real repair skills and knowledge.

Revved mine for a couple of motorheads the other day with the hood up and was struck by just how much intake air sound was audible with my Velossa Tech scoop.
Sounds a little bit like a delayed reaction, but I think he's making rapid throttle opening intervals and that sound is just intake noise on a stock system, IMHO of course.

Thanks everybody for your responses. That’s the sound it makes when I’m tapping the gas pedal. I also feel it while driving in low gears and low rpm. Driving me crazy. Called Chevy, and they said all I can do is bring it back to the dealership. I’ve had car friends listen and they say it’s not normal. Want to hear a brand new Camaro SS, but the only one near me had its wheels stolen right off the lot! The Three Camaros I’ve listened to all have at least 5000 miles on them. Someone mentioned Chevy may know about it but not doing anything since it’s not affecting performance. Talked to the dealership today and they said I’d have to leave the car there for a few days. Guess one day wasn’t enough. Thanks again everyone. CTRLZ thanks for the sound tube info. I’ll look into it
