Good place to get OEM GM parts
So I bought a dealer cheap out spec'd ZL1 with nothing in it which is fine - thank God it is a manual.
Anyway looking to get the Carbon Fiber hood insert and Red Knee and Door inserts along with red seat belts wondering if you folks can steer me in the right direction w/o being scalped by local dealer ...

What did your dealer quote for all of that? Anything under $3k including labor will be in the ballpark.
4 seat belts seem to be in the $600-700 range. Insert $1100. $300 for knee pads? I'd have no problem paying someone competent a grand to do the work on that job, but I'd include a top-shelf self-healing PPF on the insert as a requirement with emblems on top of the PPF (no seams) and a good hydrophobic coating on top. I don't care where they get the parts. But that's me

GM Parts Direct consistently had best prices of all the online GM*.* parts places. Lately, their search has been scarce. Use part numbers for best search, otherwise their search by Vin/year goes straight to aftermarket parts.
Matt at WildHammer is my backup. Better than dealerships. Carbon Fiber hood is on backorder according to dealerships. Got a $2200 quote for a $600 RPO option, so I feel your pain. |

Red knee pads, keep in mind the OEM GM pads are faux leather, not suede like you have now. You can find some 3rd party vendors that will custom make them in red suede if you desire.

In my experience, there isn't much variability in parts prices between online vendors, however, the shipping costs are often significantly different.

I saw a YouTube video where someone stripped down the black to the carbon fiber and then clear coated the carbon fiber
