Installing Magnuson 2650 on ZL1 soon, thoughts?

I'll be installing the Magnuson 2650 on my car soon, so I thought I'd reach out for any words of wisdom anyone might have to offer.

Here is what I've purchased so far:
- Magnuson 2650 Supercharger (with Fit) Kit 90mm pulley 103mm snout
- Nick Williams 103mm Billet Throttle Body
- Rotofab Big Gulp 5" Cold Air Intake System (Oiled Filter)
- DSX Auxiliary Fuel Pump Kit (w/ drill bit and tap)
- Primary cat delete (keeping stock exhaust manifolds, don't want headers)
- LT5 AC Delco spark plugs
- New AC Delco plug wires (stock LT4 wires)
- GM valve covers (plan is to modify new covers for coil fitment and have powder coated black)
- Mighty Mouse Catch Can (Mild)

Other modifications (some installed, some still in box):
- Mishimoto performance auxiliary radiators
- ADM Performance high-capacity heat exchanger
- APR Performance wing, air dam, splitter, and canards
- BC Forged wheels in stock ZL1 1LE size
- FEA Suspension
- BMR rear trailing arms (single adjustable, lower and upper)
- BMR rear toe rods (double adjustable)
- Ferodo DS1.11 pads (front and rear)
- Castrol SRF
- Racing Brake stainless brake pistons with high-temp seals.

Other notes:
- My car is used exclusively for road course
- 93 octane pump gas (no interest in running a flex-fuel setup)

I have no idea if the 90mm pulley is right for a road course car. I figured if I started running out of fuel, have too much heat, etc. I'd move to a larger pulley to lower the boost. Anyone have any insight here?

Does anyone have a HP Tuners tune file Magnuson offers with any LT4 2650 kit? I fully understand it's not what I need for my setup, but I would like to reference it. Unfortunately, it was not available at the time I bought my 2650. I plan to have the car professionally tuned, but since I'm somewhat familiar with tuning from the LT4 I put in the SS, I plan to be fully involved in the process.

I'm not 100% sure about the Mighty Mouse catch can. I bought it for extra ventilation to hopefully avoid blowing engine seals. Anyone running one of these on a road course car? Does it fill up quick? The last thing I want is an engine bay fire.

Other thoughts?

I think the 90mm is a good start for road racing. I would have it professionally tuned for your application. It may require some different tuning for road racing compared to just straight line drag racing like a lot of us do.

I have sticky tires. I just neglected to list them. I've ran a 315/345 Hoosier R7 setup, but I've found I actually like the Goodyear Supercar 3Rs better.

The driver mod is a constant work in progress for all of us. I invest a lot of time in lap analysis and work with the racers360 coaches to improve. I'm currently at the top of the fast list at PittRace (my closest track) and I took first place in my class at the SCCA time trials there last year. The ZL1 is absolutely fantastic in stock form (truly underrated), but since it's unlikely we'll see any major improvements to it from GM, I've decided to make some changes (hopefully improvements).

Man you have so much room to grow with the 2650. You'll stay at the top for sure.

Do you know approximately what the peak boost pressure will be with the 90mm?

I'd say your a lucky man. I cant wait to sell this Whipple and get me a 2650 Maggie. It would really compliment my TH400 transmission and most likely get me into mid 8s. Looks like 8s are gonna be the thing of the past with the way 2650s are doing it. Good choice either way!

With the 90mm and 103mm TB, my car (at sea level) makes 200kPa (~15psi) at 6500 engine RPM and 213kPa (~16.5) at 7000 engine RPM. On 91 pump with all else stock my Z06 M7 makes about 725 RWHP under these conditions.

90mm will be a good starting point, drives like stock with crazy pull up top. I'm running stock 335/35/20 rear tires, and if they are warm enough, they can normally handle WOT for all of second gear - but Z06's have pretty tall gears. at 7k car will go 70MPH in first and just shy of 100MPH in second.
Need a set of 4.10s rear gears in this thing for the drag strip though....

Thank you.

15psi might be a little aggressive for a road course car that sits at the upper range of the RPMs for 20-30 minutes at a time. That boost level is over what the LT5 is advertised at (not sure about actual #s), but the ZR1 with the LT5 was engineered with the appropriate cooling. My car has slightly upgraded cooling, but I'd like to be able to beat on the car without issues.

I guess I'm still kicking around the idea of switching to the 100 mm pulley. My primary goal with the 2650 was to offset the drag from the new aero parts. I'd much rather sacrifice a little horsepower for reliability, but at the same time, I don't want to give up horsepower if there isn't a need to give it up.

Hey Travis, do you still have the stock lower or a larger ATI? If I remember correctly Toohighpsi may have had larger lower which would be a higher PSI then yours would be with the stock lower.

Does anyone have a HP Tuners tune file for a 2650 on a manual transmission 6th gen ZL1? (I won't bug you with questions. I'm just curious what all needs to change.)

Anyone use a Mighty Mouse catch can with a 2650 on a road course?

If you have a Magnuson 2650 on an LT4, please post your lower and upper pulley size along with the peak boost. Any other relevant details are also appreciated.
