question on ordering Camaro

Hello I would like to order a camaro as I can't find one in dealerships with the options I want. I live in NJ, and wanted to know through what dealerships have owners in NJ ordered from so that I don't have to go through a rough time getting the order to go through to GM. Thank you

You can order from Becky, she's an amazing and very helpful sales professional who doesn't play BS games and ships to your door, even with a trade-in involved.

However, and hope I won't get flamed off for saying this, the importance of the order and purchase process is dwarfed by that of subsequent service visits, which you will need a good local dealership for---few can afford to drive or tow to a dealership 6-800 miles away.

Not sure where in NJ you are located, I am up north and being treated like royalty by the service dept of my dealership, Schumacher Chevrolet Denville, for no apparent reason other than ordering the car with them and being a repeat customer. I'm an honest and reasonable client (don't pester them with petty crap and threaten them with lawsuits and lie about my mods), but the way they treat me goes way above and beyond a simple response to my attitude, and on a regular basis.

This link explains why you should definitely consider ordering from Becky D.

I understand you're in NJ but people from across the US order from her and couldn't be happier.

If you are in love with the Camaro and depreciation is not a factor than I say order one.
I wanted to pre-order a 2020 Camaro with an MSRP of $45,190 and the best I could find was a dealer discount of $3,300 and a miserly Chev rebate of $500 (based on what is available when it comes in).
Not even close to any value there, leftover 2019's weren't much better.

I bought a leftover Mustang GT Convertible at 24.8% off MSRP.

what are you looking for that you cant find on a dealer lot? not many options on Camaros. Most are dealer installed and you can buy them or thrown into the deal for free.

I should have bought a ZL1

Give Anthony Vattuone a call at Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg,Md. just outside DC. I've bought 2 cars from him the past 18 months. They gave me great prices on both my trades and it was worth the drive there and back from Florida and made deals no dealers down here could come close to.Tell him John from Florida sent you if he asks.

What are you smoking, not many options for the Camaro? Compared to the Challenger in which I am seriously considering, it has tons more options and more interior colors, ect. One thing I did not know though is I heard the seats don't have lumber adjustment. Is that true?

True to that, no lumbar adjustment on Camaro seats, they're 8-way adjustable driver side and 6-way passenger side.

Schumacher are not bad, I got my Volt through their store in Little Falls. But when I went to look at the SS sedan at their Denville location, it was a different experience. I purchased mine through Autosport Chevy in Budd Lake, they are a small dealership, and were excellent to work with. They were willing to deal on a car that sat on another dealer's lot. I'd highly recommend them, but I believe the dealership changed hands and name at this point.

Lets see, there are:

2 Configurations
22 Trims
10 Colors
2 Accent and Stripe Options

...and that's before you get to the 2nd tab.

ok now build a car with all those options. you can only choose 2 options out of the 1st 2 tabs. stripes can be installed after. Im sure the op knows what car he wants. say he wants a 1SS. there is not many non dealer installed options he can get. pretty much if the only thing hard to get would be some of the leather colors.
