Why is it "stupid" that GM is not offering 25% off the MSRP of Camaros?

Because they have offered 25% off the past two years at this time of year, now that I want one I am not paying 85% of MSRP.

Chev should do what they did with the Vette "pull the $2,000 rebate for Mustang owner" (Vette had 2k owner loyalty) and move it for everyone.

Another buffoon move on Chev's part; they sold their 2019 Corporate Camaro 2SS Convertibles to dealers in my area and now these are 36k with 2-9,000 miles on them. Who would pay 45k for a new one when they can get a Corporate car with a few miles for 10k less..stupid.

If you're good at negotiating and know how specific dealerships operate in their region/in competition with their competitors, you should be able to get 20% off a Camaro regardless of when you walk in.

Where do you see this? I just looked on the chevrolet website and didn't see anything like that. All I see is $11K on the Z06

my local dealer that had over 20 cars a few weeks ago now has only 7, and the discount on the cheapest one is $9500 on a $67K MSRP.
So more like 15%

25% is interesting. 15% just isn't even close to interesting. Plus there are almost no manual cars around at this point.

You may have to leave CA to get a deal, plenty of manuals etc..

I got my past two (16 and 2017) at 25% off, if I pay 80% MSRP it will cost me $6,000 in depreciation to own one for a year; no thanks.

Chev set the rules, I just play by them.

Even before this, you could get a pretty solid deal on Corvettes. Ask me how I know....
